Abstract
PURPOSE:To tighten a collar attached stub screw with an automatically supplied screw by moving a screw tightening screwdriver to, first, attract a screw and then moving it again to the screw hole of an object upon outputting the screw position data on a pallet already positioned to a rectangular coordinate robot. A screw tightening object 9 is conveyed on a conveyer 10 to the B arrow direction, hits a stopper 11 and stops. A positioning control computer 13 calculates and outputs the position data for a screw receiving hole on the pallet 4 and a robot controller 12 actuates a rectangular coordinate robot 2 to move an attracting type screw tightening screwdriver 20 to the screw receiving hole position and to move to the position of the specified screw hole 26 of the screw tightening object 9 to tighten the screw.
