Abstract

PURPOSE: To make precision in carrier favorable and to prevent the fault of an image by providing a means for inclining a belt to one side on one end side of an endless belt for carrying a transfer means of an image formation device and a means for preventing the inclination to an inclination direction on another end side.
CONSTITUTION: The axis lines of a driving roller 41 and a follower roller 43 are disposed not in parallel and a groove 55 is provided on one side of the ends of the respective rollers. A rib 56 fixed on the side 44b where the peripheral length of the belt 44 is long is made to fit in the groove 55. Another end side 44a in a width direction of the belt is made shorter than the side 44b so as to strongly add a tension to the side 44a. Since the rib 56 fit in the groove 55 though the belt 44 tries to incline to a direction of an arrow B at the time of carrying the transfer sheet by the belt 44, the inclination can be stopped in the position where the side 56a of the rib abuts on the groove 55. Then, the belt moves without rimple and sag, and the rimple and the sag does not occur on the transfer sheet on the belt, which is precisely carried to a transfer position without inclination and meandering, so that the favorable image can be obtained.
