Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent automatically a deviation of belt by providing rotatable rollers increasing their diameters towards their outsides on a shaft supporting an end roller for guiding the belt, and slanting the shaft.
CONSTITUTION: When a belt 2 trained over an end roller 1 is deviated, it rides over either of rotatable rollers 4 increasing their diameters towards the outside. Tension corresponding to the amount of such riding-over is applied to the belt side to prevent the deviation and further a shaft for supporting the end roller is slanted in response to the deviation to add the tension for rapidly returning the belt to the original position. This slanting is obtained from providing sprockets 13 on the rotatable rollers 4 and shifting bearing members 12 left and right in opposite direction to each other through sprockets 22 and screw members 16 provided in external boxes 11 having the shaft bearing members 12 with the rotation of the rollers 4 caused by such riding-over.
