Abstract
PURPOSE:To allow observers to view reproduced images at an appropriate angle of convergence by permitting an included angle adjusting device to adjust included angles of the optical axes of two image pickup devices in response to the distance of an object so that said angles can be convergence angles of two eyes. CONSTITUTION:1st and 2nd compact television cameras 31 and 33 are fitted to 1st and 2nd stands 7 and 9, and are connected to a video tape recorder through a polar screen and a shutter. 1st and 2nd intermediate prisms 35 and 37 are fixed on a casing close to the forward of the television cameras 31 and 33. The reflecting faces 36 and 38 of said prisms 35 and 37 are fully reflective, and tilt 45 deg. with respect to the optical axes of the television cameras 31 and 33. An objective prism 41 is placed in the middle of the intermediate prisms 35 and 37, and its two faces are fully reflective and in parallel with the reflecting faces 36 and 38 of said prisms 35 and 37. The objective prism 41 faces an object A through an opening 5 installed on the front wall 2 of the casing 1.
