Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress vibration generated secondarily and to realize the completely stable traveling of a tape, by arranging rotary rolls at the upstream and the downstream sides of an impedance roll and that of a full-width erasing head. CONSTITUTION:The rotary rolls 21 and 22 arranged at the entry and the exit sides of the impedance roll 15 are constituted in such a way that a light material with abrasion resistance is used in its roll main body and it can be rotated lightly by reducing moment of inertia and the vibration is prevent from being generated additionally by using a metal bearing as the bearing of the roll. In other words, the vibration remaining at an air column 16 is eliminated by the rotary roll 21 at the front stage, and the vibration generated additionally via the ball bearing of the impedance 15, etc., can be eliminated by the rotary roll 22 at the rear stage. Also, it is possible to eliminate chord vibration generated between the full-width erasing head 9 and the rotary roll 22 and an inclined post 25 by the rotary rolls 23 and 24 arranged at the entry and the exit sides of the full-width erasing head 9.
