When the part 4b is ON, a timer part 9 is operated and current flows from a transistor Tr to the part 4b of the relay 4 to hold the contact 4b. When the operation time of a timer comes to an end, the transistor Tr is OFF and current does not flow in the part 4a of the relay 4 and the contact part 4b is OFF. During the operation time of the timer the current flows through the coil 6b of a solenoid valve 6 to open the valve 6 and operate an igniter 5. Except during the operation time of the timer, the current from the source 1 is not therefore consumed and the power consumption of a battery can be reduced.
