Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate decomposition reaction caused by lowering of pH by immersing a carrier in a solution containing dinitrodiaminopalladium and then reducing dinitrodiaminopalladium on the carrier and preparing a neutral palladium catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A carrier is immersed in a solution containing dinitrodiamino palladium and the carrier is impregnated with dinitrodiaminopalladium, and then said impregnated dinitrodiaminopalladium is reduced to prepare a neutral palladium catalyst. As for the carrier, an inorganic compound such as alumina, silica and active carbon or the like is suitable, and the carrier with 8-11 pH in the state of suspending in water is suitable. The neutral palladium catalyst thus prepared can be used for various kinds of reaction of organic compounds which is easily affected by decomposition reaction or the like because of lowered pH, and decomposition of organic compound or the like is not formed.
