Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance treatment efficiency by making it possible to easily irradiate the affected part at a deep part in the body from the surface of the body, by optically connecting an extended optical fiber wire to a condensing lens for converging laser beam. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber wire 11 is connected to the adaptor 10a of a treatment device main body 10 and an insert needle 13 is mounted to the leading end of a handle body 12 in a freely detachable manner. The optical fiber wire 11 is a coated wire having an optical fiber strand 11a therein and the end surface thereof is positioned in the main body 10 so as to introduce the laser beam converged by a condensing lens 3 into the main body 10. The beam in the optical fiber wire 11 is diffused from the end surface in the handle body 14 but made parallel by a single surface convex lens 16b and further converged by the single surface convex lens 16b to be introduced into the optical fiber strand 13b of the insert needle 13. Therefore, the insert needle 13 is inserted in the center of the affected part from the surface of the body and the main body 10 may be operated in this state.
