Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve configurational accuracy of a molded product and to facilitate insert molding therewith, by subjecting a cavity to the effect of unidirectional magnetic flux parallel with the parting face of molds. CONSTITUTION:Molten resin material containing magnetic particles is injected into a cavity 24. An exciting coil 16 arranged on a fixed table and an exciting coil 18 on a movable table are supplied with current in the opposite directions to each other, whereby a pair of magnetic paths are formed. One of the magnetic paths includes the fixed table 10, a ferromagnetic material section 20a in a fixed mold 20, the cavity 24, a return yoke 26 and a tie bar 14 in that order and returns to the fixed table 10. The other magnetic path includes the movable table 12, a ferromagnetic material section 22a in a movable mold 22, the cavity 24, the return yoke 26 and the tie bar 14 in that order and returns to the movable table 12. The cavity 24 is under the effect of upward magnetic field, whereby the magnetic particles in the molded material are oriented properly. The molded product thus obtained is allowed to have improved configurational accuracy and the insert molding therewith can be facilitated.
