Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an org. noble metal ink suitable for use in ornament, electronic industry, etc. and capable of giving an even smooth coating surface, by combining at least one noble metal salt of resinic acid with a rosin-derivative resin binder and a solvent.
CONSTITUTION: At least one noble metal salt of resinic acid (A) (e.g., gold resinate or platinum resinate) is mixed with a rosin-derivative resin binder (B) (e.g., maleic acid-modified rosin glycerol ester or rosin pentaerythritol ester) and a solvent (C) (e.g., terpene alcohol) as indispensable components to prepare an org. noble metal ink. The use of the rosin-derivative resin binder having a higher viscosity than that of conventional binders enables the amt. of the binder to be decreased to thereby prevent formation of aggregates on the surface of a baked ink coating film caused by the binder, formation of pinholes therein caused by escape therethough of a gas, etc.
