CONSTITUTION: A catalyst comprising (A) a solid catalytic component prepared by suspending a dialkoxymagnesium in an aromatic hydrocarbon liquid at normal temperature, reacting the suspension with TiCl4 and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid diester at 80W135°C, separating the prepared solid substance, further reacting the solid substance with TiCl4 to give a solid reaction product, bringing a Si compound shown by the formula (R is alkyl, cycloalkyl, vinyl or aryl; R' is alkyl; 0≤m<4) into contact with the solid reaction product and then bringing an organoaluminum compound into contact with the substance, (B) an epoxy-p-menthane compound and (C) an organoaluminum compound.
