Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable copying to be repeated by using a switching layer having memory action obtained by forming a plasma polymerized film of an organic compound having a metal complex and/or a metal chelate group on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:An electrically conductive material can be used for the conductive substrate 1. The organic compound having the metal complex and/or the metal chelate, such as phthalocyanine derivatives, e.g., monochloroaluminum- monochlorophthalocyanine, or copper (II) acetylacetonate, can be used for the memorizing switching layer 2 formed on the substrate 2, thus permitting copying to be repeated.
