Abstract

The suction pressure is simultaneously exerted from suction ports 51 of the vacuum generators 50 to the adhesive agents so that the adhesive agents are spread into all the parts in the ferrules in a short period of time. Particularly the stage for supplying the adhesive agents and injecting and packing the same into the ferrules among the stages for terminating the optical cables is extremely important to prevent the degradation in the connection characteristics of the junctures by inserting the ferrules to the optical cable terminals and completely fixing the same. This operation is fully automated.
