PURPOSE:To contrive a broader favorable-printing range and a lower position adjustment cost, by forming an outer peripheral part of a recording roller from a flexible material such as sponge rubber, and providing a limiting member for maintaining a fixed spacing between the axis of the roller and a recording head. CONSTITUTION:When a recording head 6 is pressed against a recording roller 7, an outer peripheral part of the roller 7 which part is formed of, for example, sponge rubber and has a low hardness is elastically deformed until both ends of the head 6 make contact with limiting wheels 8 provided on both sides of the roller 7.
