Abstract

PURPOSE:To visualize easily material routes such as the flow channel of resin material in a mold, the orientation of material reinforcement in a molded item etc., by performing a reaction injection molding, after a color paste different in color from the molded item, compatible with material and reactively curable, is prepared in advance in the runner part between mixing head and after-mixer. CONSTITUTION:A small quantity of the color paste composed of polyol kneaded with pigment is provided in a runner part 12 directly before after-mixer 14. Then, by operating a reaction injection molding machine both materials are mixed together during the pressing-and-sending process from mixing head 11 to after-mixer 13 and extruded into a mold 1. The color paste 20 is injected from the after-mixer 13 on the route to such an ertent that the paste may not be fully mixed with resin material and may disperse in it. During the extrusion into the mold 1, the color paste is mixed with isocyanate and cured in the reaction along the flow route from the position of dispersion at gate 15 and forms a striped pattern up to the end of the product.
