Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a proper engine control without need for providing a complex judging circuit by providing a control means for reducing an intake air quantity or a fuel feeding quantity into an engine accompanying the operation of a brake device. CONSTITUTION:One end of a brake wire 5 which is separately provided from the driving of a brake device body is fixed to a brake pedal 4 while the other end is linked to an engaging piece 7 fixed to an accelerator wire 2. At the time of stepping an accelerator pedal 1 in a condition of the brake pedal 4 not stepped in, no power is transmitted to the brake wire 5. And, when the brake pedal 4 is stepped in, the accelerator pedal 1 is returned to an idling position in which it is not stepped in, lowering engine speed. Thereby, a complex judging circuit is not necessary enabling a proper engine control with a simple structure.
