Abstract
PURPOSE: To uniformly print recording data on a desired region in proper quantities, by indicating a printing region from a recording scanning body prior to executing printing processing.
CONSTITUTION: When a range indicating key 17 is pushed down, the content of the counter CNT on an RAM 16 is initialized and it is judged whether a trigger pulse is outputted from a trigger pulse generator 15 and, when the trigger pulse is generated, the content of the counter CNT on the RAM 16 is renewed by '+1'. Subsequently, it is judged whether a range deciding key 18 is pushed down and, when said key 18 is pushed down, the printing count number stored in a printing quantity register DOT is subtracted from the count value stored in the counter CNT to again register the obtained count value in the counter CNT and the stored count value is divided by the number of the characters stored in a character number register 1 to set the calculated value to the counter CNT. Subsequently, the content of the counter CNT is added to a character interval register (n) to store the obtained value in the character interval register (n). Therefore, the character/marks corresponding to the text registered in a region to be subjected to printing scanning are arranged uniformly and can be printed in order.
