Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a highly reliable heat insulating pipe which maintains early heat insulating property by sealing with anti-leaking material the entire circumferential surface of a heat insulating pipe in order to fit in with the inner and outer circumferences of the pipe. CONSTITUTION: A tubular heat insulating layer 1 may be any one of fibrous, powdered or foam-foaming or sintered forms of aluminum oxides or sintered forms of a mixture thereof. Furthermore, things like the following are taken into consideration: anti-leaking tube and basic material of film 2 and tube 3 do not chemically interfere with fluids nor with the heat insulating layer and physical strength is to be maintained under working-temperature conditions, etc.; for example, at about 1-10 deg.C, cross-linked polyethylene and at a much higher temperature up to about 250 deg.C silicone rubber type or Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene), are used, respectively.
