Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase durability and obtain a characteristic suitable for an external force in the direction perpendicular to an axis by making at least one rod in which deformed restraining means for a rubber sleeve are provided on both end parts pass through the rubber sleeve in an axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A rubber sleeve 12 is installed on an inner cylinder 11 of a rigid material by means of vulcanization, etc., an outer cylinder 13 of a rigid material is fixed to its outer periphery by means of caulking, bonding, etc., and four rods 15 with high rigidity are provided at an equal interval in the circumferential direction passing through the rubber sleeve 12 in the axial direction. Also, deformed restraining means 16 are installed on both ends of the rod 15 so as to be positioned in the annular recess 14 of the rubber sleeve 12. Hence, the excessive deformation of the rubber sleeve can be prevented, increasing durability while obtaining a nonlinear load-deflection characteristic suited to an external force in the direction perpendicular to an axis.
