In recent years, remotely controlled devices and equipment have become more complex and used in a variety of ways. Furthermore, it is often the case that the operating section is left as it is, and other operated sections with different functions are replaced and assembled, so that a single operating section can perform a plurality of functions.

At the tip of each inner cable 11, 21 of the first and second two remote control cables 1, 2, a male threaded tube 30 is protruded from one side and a female threaded tube 40 is protruded from the other. 40 are screwed together and connected. A sleeve 70 is placed over the connecting portion with ample room, an L-shaped slot 74 is formed at one end of the sleeve 74 and opened to the end surface of the sleeve, and a through locking hole is formed at the other end of the sleeve 70. 75 will be established.

A cylindrical body 24 having a spring piece 23 protruding from its outer periphery is fitted and fixed to the tip of the outer casing 22 of the second remote control cable 2, and the cylindrical body 24 is inserted into the sleeve 70 while pressing the spring piece 23. By the elastic return of 23, the spring piece 23 is fitted into the locking hole 75 of the sleeve 70.

A cylindrical body 14 having protrusions 13 protruding from its outer periphery is fitted and fixed to the tip of the outer casing 12 of the first remote control cable 1, and the cylindrical body 14 is inserted into the sleeve 70, and at the same time the protrusions 13 are inserted into the slots 70. and turn the outer casing 12 to engage the protrusion 13 deep into the slot 74.

In this way, the two remote control cables 1 and 2 are connected into one, but in the remote control cable, the protrusion 13 of the outer casing 12 is simply fitted into the L-shaped groove 81 of the sleeve 70. In addition, since the outer casing 12 is not specially prevented from rotating, there is a risk that the outer casing 12 will rotate and the protrusion 13 will naturally come off from the L-shaped slot 74. The cylindrical body 24 on the second side only has the spring piece 23 on its outer periphery fitted into the locking hole 75 of the sleeve 70 by a spring action, and the cylindrical body 24
If a force is applied to pull out 4 in the axial direction, it will easily come off from the sleeve 70, resulting in low reliability in connection and retention.

Inner cable 11 of both remote control cables 1 and 2,
Connecting pieces 3, 4 are provided at the inner ends of the outer casings 12, 21, and connecting bodies 5, 6 having hollow portions 55, 65 with openings at the ends into which the connecting pieces are slidably fitted are protruded from the inner ends of the outer casings 12, 22. A continuous notch 53 with an enlarged depth is opened perpendicularly to the axis and extends through the end face of the connecting piece and the connecting body of the other cable, with the inner end surfaces of the other cable being aligned. A protrusion 63 whose distal end side is enlarged in correspondence with the notch 53 of the mating connecting piece and the connecting body is protrudingly provided on the body, and both connecting bodies 5 and 6 have a through guide length extending in the axial direction and opening at the distal end surface. Holes 54 and 64 are opened, and both connecting pieces 3 and 4 are opened.
protrusions 32, 42 that are slidably fitted into the guide elongated holes 54, 64 are protrudingly provided, and both connectors have protrusions on the abutment surface and inner surface that the protrusions abut against and prevent the protrusions from retreating in the axial direction. Rings 7, 7 formed with escape grooves 72 that allow the axial retreat of the rings 32, 42 are slidably and rotatably fitted in the axial direction. , 7 are screwed together to push them toward each other.

The connecting pieces 3 and 4 at the tip of the inner cable are engaged by fitting a notch 53 enlarged at the back and a protrusion 63 enlarged at the tip, and both the connecting pieces 3 and 4 slide on the connecting bodies 5 and 6. Because they fit together easily, when one inner cable is pulled or pushed, both connecting pieces 3 and 4
moves within the connecting bodies 5 and 6 as they are connected, and the movement is transmitted to the other inner cable.

While in the above state, the push tube 8 is rotated in the tightening direction to move the ring 7 forward. At this time, the protrusions 32, 42 of the connecting pieces 3, 4 come into contact with the front end abutting surface 71 of the ring 7, and the protrusions 32, 42 and therefore the connecting pieces 3, 4 slide within the connecting bodies 5, 6 and advance toward the opening side. do.

Tighten the push tube 8 again and move the rings 7, 7 forward. Both rings 7 are the stop pieces 5 of the mating connection body.
The forward movement of the rings 7, 7 is prevented by contacting the front end edges 56b, 66b of the rings 6, 66, and the front end contact surfaces 7 of both the rings 7, 7
1 and 7 are butted against each other to straddle and cover the connecting portion between the notch 53 and the protrusion 63, thereby effectively preventing the connecting portion from disengaging.

In this case, the push tubes 8, 8 are further loosened to move the rings 7, 7 backward, and then the rings 7, 7 are turned so that the front end abutting surfaces 71 of the rings are aligned with the stop pieces 56, 66 on the connecting bodies 5, 6, respectively. 32, 42, and tighten the push tube 8 again to advance the ring 7, and similarly to the above, the ring 7 advances the protrusions 32, 42 and hence the connecting pieces 3, 4. If the push tube 8 is advanced until the ring 7 hits the stop pieces 56, 66, the front ends of the connecting pieces 3, 4 and the connecting bodies 5, 6 will match as described above, and when the connecting parts are shifted in the direction perpendicular to the axis, they will engage. comes off and both cables 1 and 2 can be separated.

The connecting pieces 3, 4 are fitted to the inner ends of the inner cables 11, 21 of the cables 1, 2, and the hollow parts 55, 65 have openings at the ends in which the connecting pieces are slidably fitted to the inner ends of the outer casings 12, 22.
Connecting bodies 5 and 6 are provided in a protruding manner, and the connecting piece of one cable and the end face of the connecting body each have a notch 53 with an enlarged depth that is continuous with the inner end surfaces of each cable being aligned on the same plane. The connecting piece of the other cable and the connecting body are provided with projecting portions 63 whose distal ends are enlarged in correspondence with the notches 53 of the mating connecting piece and the connecting body. The bodies 5 and 6 have a through-guide elongated hole 54 extending in the axial direction and opening at the distal end surface.
64 is opened, and both connecting pieces 3, 4 have protrusions 32, 42 that are slidably fitted into the guide elongated holes 54, 64.
A contact surface 71 is formed on both connecting bodies to prevent the protrusions 32, 42 from retreating in the axial direction, and a relief groove 72 is formed on the inner surface to allow the protrusions 32, 42 to retreat in the axial direction. The rings 7, 7 are fitted so as to be slidable and rotatable in the axial direction, and the two connecting bodies 5, 6
The splittable remote control cable is screwed with push tubes 8, 8 that push the rings 7, 7 toward each other by screw thrust.
