Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the efficient work by comparing an arc voltage waveform which is detected and calculated and subjected to sampling-hold in advance when an arc is in a stationary state with the arc voltage waveform detected during welding to correct the position of a welding torch so that its difference is diminished to zero. CONSTITUTION:The arc voltage is detected by a voltage detector 6 and the difference between said voltage and the reference voltage of the arc voltage preset on a setter 7 is calculated with a differential amplifier 10. This value is divided into the left side and right side and calculated by a switch 11 and an X axial motor 21 is controlled by a driver 20 to correct the position of the welding torch. By this method, the efficient work is performed with inexpensive constitution.
