Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate bad influence onto other machinery, by taking out con stant current from a D.C. supply source during charging interval and charging a smoothing capacitor.
CONSTITUTION: Power is fed from a D.C. source 1 through a switching source circuit 2 to a load 3. The source circuit 2 comprises a switching element 4 for carrying out ON/OFF driving of current fed from the D.C. source 1, a smoothing choke coil 5 and a smoothing capacitor therefor, a drive transistor 8 for a damper diode 7 and the switching element 4, a current detecting resistor 9 and a control circuit 11. The control circuit 11 is constructed with a detecting means 31 and first and second control means 15, 16. The second control means 16 is constructed with a flip-flop 24, a drive circuit 26 and the like, while the first control means 15 is constructed with a sawtooth wave generator. Conse quently, a load 3 temporarily consuming large power is prevented from being fed with such current as proportional to the differential potential between the D.C. source 1 and the smoothing capacitor 6, resulting in suppression of overcurrent.
