Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate temperature unevenness in a boiler generated during hot banking by extracting part of an exhaust gas from an exhaust gas duct during stopping of the boiler, returning it into a furnace and circulating it. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas duct 7 is connected to an air supply duct 4 via a circulating duct 14, and a circulating ventilator 15 having a small capacity and a damper 16 are provided in the duct 14. During operation of the boiler, the damper 16 is fully closed to stop the ventilator 15. And, when the boiler is during hot banking, the damper 16 is fully opened, and the ventilator 15 is operated continuously during the banking or at a predetermined interval or intermittently in response to a set value of a generated temperature difference. Thus, a temperature difference of respective parts of the boiler generated during the hot banking is reduced and made uniform.
