Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain selection levers at a prescribed tilt angle and speed up the shaking speed of a pusher lever by engaging engaging parts of locking levers with engageable parts of the selection levers. CONSTITUTION: This controller for a dobby loom is obtained by installing engageable parts 148 and 158 on the outer peripheries of base parts of respective selection levers 43 and 45 and arranging locking levers 143 and 153 equipped with engaging parts 149 and 159 for spring elastically engaging with respective engageable parts 148 and 158 in a tilted state for each of the selection levers 43 and 45 so that the tilted state of the selection levers 43 and 45 can be maintained when either one of a knife part 103 and a hook part 107 is pressed to a position where the knife part 103 can be engaged with the hook part 107 with a pressing part and further installing a release member 160 capable of pressing the locking levers 143 and 153 in the direction in which the locking levers 143 and 153 are separated and isolated from the base parts of the selection levers 43 and 53 so as to release the engagement of the engageable parts 148 and 158 with the engaging parts 149 and 159 in a prescribed timing.
