記給紙台3を矢印B方向へ押上げるように作動す
るバネ4と、前記給紙台3上に前記シート紙2が
無くなり該シート紙2を補給する際矢印C方向に
回動して前記給紙台3を矢印D方向へ押下げる機
能を有する押下げアーム5とで構成されている。
そして該給紙機構によつて前記給紙台3上の前記
シート紙2が矢印A′方向に送出され尽して無く
なるとオペレータが前記モータ6を停止させ押下
げアーム5を操作してこれを矢印C方向に回動
し、前記給紙台3を矢印D方向に押下げて前記シ
ート紙2を補給した後に再び前記モータ6を作動
させ前記給紙ローラ1を回動させるという手順で
操作が行なわれていた。したがつて従来の給紙機
構において前記給紙台3上の前記シート紙2が送
出され尽して無くなつた場合は、前記給紙ローラ
1と前記給紙台3とが直接摺接することになり双
方が摩擦によつて損傷するという事故がしばしば
発生していた。なお前記押下げアーム5を駆動す
る別のモータを設けることは装置のスペースフア
クタの関係から不可能であり、かつ製造コストの
面からも好ましくないため適当な合理化対策が関
係者の課題となつていた。

L型のフツク11およびシート紙2の有無を検知
するシート紙センサ15を具備した給紙台3と、
該給紙台3を矢印B方向へ押し上げているバネ4
と、プーリ17を備えると共に正逆両方向に回転
し、ベルト10を介して前記給紙ローラ1および
前記押下げレバー7を駆動する正逆両方向回転モ
ータ16と、該モータ16の回転方向を制御する
制御機構20とによつて構成されている。そして
前記給紙台3上に前記シート紙2が載つていると
きは前記シート紙センサ15の情報で前記制御機
構20からは前記正逆転モータ16に矢印E方向
回転の指令が出されている。このため該モータ1
6のプーリ17は矢印E方向に回動しており、該
回動を伝えるベルト10は矢印E′方向に走行し前
記一方向第1クラツチ8を介して前記給紙ローラ
1は矢印A方向に回動し、前記バネ4によつて該
ローラ1に圧接させられている前記シート紙2に
摺接して該シート紙2を矢印A′方向に送出する。
なおこの状態のとき前記一方向第2クラツチ9は
前記ベルト10により矢印H方向へ回動するが該
クラツチ9は矢印G方向回動時にのみ作動する一
方向クラツチであるために空転していて前記押下
げレバー7に対しては作用しない。次に前記給紙
台3上の前記シート紙2が無くなつて補給が必要
な状態になると前記シート紙センサ15がその情
報を前記制御機構20に伝えるので該制御機構2
0から前記正逆転モータ16に対して逆転指令が
出され該モータ16のプーリ17は矢印F方向
(逆方向)へ回動することになり該回動を伝える
前記ベルト10は矢印F′方向へ走行する。これに
よつて前記一方向第2クラツチ9が作動し前記押
下げレバー7に当接しているフツク11が矢印D
方向に押し下げられるので前記給紙台3も前記バ

ート紙2の補給スタンバイ状態となる。なおこの
とき前記給紙ローラ1は前記一方向第1クラツチ
8が空転していて作動しないため回転せず静止し
ている。そして前記シート紙2が前記給紙台3上
に補給されると再び本給紙機構が稼動を再開し前
記シート紙2は1枚宛矢印A′方向に送られるこ
とになる。このように本発明の給紙機構は前記シ
ート紙2が無くなると同時に前記給紙ローラ1が
回動を停止し前記給紙台3が押下げられる構造で
あるため前記給紙台3上に前記シート紙2が無く
なつたときの前記給紙ローラ1と、前記給紙台3
との接触を避けることができる構造になつてお
り、かつ1台の前記正逆転モータ16によつて前
記給紙ローラ1の回動と、前記給紙台3の押下げ
という両面にわたる動作を併行して行ない得る構
造である。
