装置では、表示部の表示面を大きくするとケース
も大きくせざるを得ず。レイアウトが困難とな
り、またハンドル中央部前方に配置された場合そ
の部分の構造の簡略化の妨げともなる。

射するための夜間照明手段22が内蔵されてい
る。

ーン16に映るのを防止できることになる。

することにより、遮蔽部材24の後端部24aが
表示裏面とほぼ対向し、この後端部24aに内蔵
された夜間照明手段22によつて表示裏面を照射
できることになる。

の上方に遮蔽部材を移動可能に設けたので、液晶
表示素子の特質である薄さ、軽さが有効に作用
し、ハンドル中央部前方の構造を従来のものに比
して簡易化、軽量化でき、また遮蔽部材の移動位
置を昼間時、夜間時に適宜選定することにより夜
間時表示面の文字などがウインドスクリーンに映
るという不具合を未然に防止できることになる。
また、遮蔽部材に夜間照明手段を内蔵したので、
遮蔽部材の移動位置に応じて遮蔽部材による上記
効果が得られると共に、液晶表示板の表示面若し
くは表示裏面を良好にかつ確実に照明できるとい
う効果も同時に得られることになる。
