Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase independent feeling of each house, protect privacy and enhance high-class feeling of a building by providing opening and closing doors on two opposed or adjacent surfaces or many surfaces of an elevator installed so as to be freely ascendable/descentable in an intermediate part of a special building so as to be simultaneously or selectively freely openable/closable. CONSTITUTION: In an intermediate part of a building 1 such as a mansion constituted by making every upper and lower two floors as residence units 2, 3 and arranging each residence unit 2, 3 in a stage difference shape or a horizontally arranging shape, a square elevator part 7 is installed so as to be freely ascendable/descendable. An opening and closing door is selectively provided on an opposed surface of this elevator 7 so as to be openable/closable by a button switch within the elevator 7, an elevator car 10 is elevated by the selection and designation of this button switch, the car 10 is stopped on the designated floor and a corresponding opening and closing door 11 is opened in front of an entrance porch to be exclusive space for each prescribed residence unit 2, 3. Thus, independent feeling of each residence unit 2, 3 can be improved by providing the opening and closing door 11.
