Abstract

CONSTITUTION:In an objective disk, tracking flags A, B and a synchronizing flag S are provided in the prescribed sample servo area of a track T, and light spot H runs in the mirror area in the flag B side. A reflected light by the spot H is detected by a quartered light detector 1. In a sample-hold circuit 14, after being qualified by a mirror sample signal, the signal is sample-held as considering the signal based on a reflection factor in the mirror area to be a reference signal. The output of the circuit 14 is used as the standard level of an RF signal in the flag A, B areas, sample-held by the sample-hold circuits 6, 7, and the fluctuation of a track servo gain can be suppressed and the highly reliable and highly precise tracking can be realized.
