Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce an attenuation pole in a stopping area so as to obtain a steep attenuating characteristic, by using ring type resonators and connecting adjacent resonant lines with each other by means of a minute capacity.
CONSTITUTION: When a minute capacity 107 is provided between adjacent resonators A and B, an attenuation pole can be produced at the frequency responding area shown by a locus 110, namely, at the stopping area of the passing band width. Moreover, when the capacity value of the minute capacity 107 is changed, the frequency of the attenuation pole of the stopping area can be controlled. When the minute capacity is connected in such way by effectively utilizing the narrow space between the adjacent ring type resonators A and B, the attenuation pole can be produced in the stopping area in the frequency responding characteristic. Therefore, a steep attenuating characteristic can be obtained and, at the same time, the frequency of the attenuation pole can be controlled easily by changing the value of the minute capacity.
