端側にてコンパニオンフランジを介してプロペラ
シヤフトに連結され、前記ドライブギヤおよびプ
ロペラシヤフトのいずれか一方の駆動力を他方へ
伝達するピニオンシヤフトであり、当該ピニオン
シヤフトは前記ドライブギヤに噛合するピニオン
を一端に備えた第1のシヤフトと、コンパニオン
フランジを他端に備えた第2のシヤフトにより構
成し、これら両シヤフトを互に同軸的かつトルク
伝達可能に連結するとともに、これら両シヤフト
を収容するケースにそれぞれ回転可能に支持した
ことを特徴とするピニオンシヤフト。 A pinion shaft that meshes with the drive gear at one end and is connected to the propeller shaft at the other end via a companion flange, and transmits the driving force of either the drive gear or the propeller shaft to the other.
