Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive to eliminate the need for a supervising device and to facilitate the configuration change in the entire system and the extension or the like by restoring the connection of both main and sub transmission lines automatically to the normal state when a faulty part is recovered. CONSTITUTION:If a communication equipment adjacent to a faulty part becomes a master station in the system where the communication is maintained by the loopback connection and both transmission lines 1, 2 at the faulty part are connected similarly, a recovery confirming signal is transmitted/received by using both the main and sub transmission lines 1, 2 at the faulty part and when the reception is normal as the result, it is discriminated that the fault is recovered to form the connection state at the normal state. Thus, when the communication equipment adjacent to the faulty part is a master station, the fault recovery is discriminated independently. Thus, no supervising device is required and the extension and configuration change as the entire system are facilitated.
