Abstract
PURPOSE:To need no prevention of the diffusion of radioactive materials into air and to exposure countermeasure by having the depth at which devices in a reactor can temporarily be placed during the time at which spent fuel plates are removed from a reactor well to release water. CONSTITUTION:Frames 12, 13 are placed in a spent fuel pool 4A and thereby spaces capable of temporarily placing a steam dryer and a steam separator are formed additionally. In the case where the steam dryer and the steam separator are moved, a reactor well plug 2 is removed and a canal plug 9 is taken off. Thereafter, the steam dryer is removed to be moved in the spent fuel pool 4A. Next, water is filled in a rector well 5, the steam separator is removed and moved on the frame 12. In the case where water is released, water is released and at the same time the steam separator is moved on the frame 13 and transferred in the spent fuel pool 4A by means of immersing movement without being exposed in air. In this case removing and attaching works are not needed and so replacing process can be shortened.
