Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to bring a filter cloth for dewatering in close contact with a molding surface having complicated projected and recessed forms along the mold by a method wherein a filter cloth having large extensibility is applied so as to counter a mold portion with intricated form and a filter cloth having small extensibility is applied so as to counter a mold portion with simple form. CONSTITUTION:A product is dewatered and pressed into shapes by vertically opening and closing forces consisting of at least the top force 1 and the bottom force 2, on the mold surface of which an interposing plate 5 provided with a plurality of water penetrating holes 6 and a filter cloth 7 for dewatering are arranged in the order named. As for the filter cloth 7 for dewatering, the filter cloth having large extensibility is applied so as to counter a mold portion with intricated form and the filter cloth having small extensibility is applied so as to counter a mold portion with simple form. In addition, both the filter cloths are made into an integral sheet in use. The favorable filter cloth with small extensibility is woven cloth made of synthetic fiber such as polyethylen, polyester, polypropylene and the like. The favorable filter cloth with large extensibility is woven cloth made of synthetic fiber textured yarn. The joining of the joint 8 of the filter cloth 71 with small extensibility and the filter cloth 72 with large extensibility is normally done by sewing.
