[Detailed description of the invention] [Field of industrial application] This invention supports the table top plate so that it can rotate freely and holds it horizontally when in use, and when it is not in use, the top plate stands vertically and follows the support. This relates to a table that can be folded up and folded.More specifically, it is equipped with casters at the bottom end of the column for movement, and a curtain board that hangs down from the top plate at the front of the column, so that when the table is in use, the table can be folded. At the same time as supporting the board horizontally, the curtain board is lowered and touches the floor surface, thereby preventing the table from moving freely, and when not in use, the curtain board is pulled up at the same time as the top board is converted to an upright position. This invention relates to an improvement of the folding table with casters, which can be freely moved by the casters.

Conventionally, in order to stabilize the table during use, in other words, to secure the table, the casters were equipped with stoppers to stop the wheels from rotating, or the casters were pulled up from the bottom of the support and lifted off the floor, allowing the support to be directly attached to the floor. Methods such as fixing by abutting against a surface were used.

However, in the former method, the casters are in contact with the floor, and the casters normally used in this type are of a rotating type that can freely change direction, so even if the wheels stop, there is still some freedom of movement. There was a problem that sufficient stability could not be obtained for use.

In addition, although the latter method provides reliable fixation by floating the casters, on the other hand, the means for moving the casters up and down is complicated, and a special device must be assembled for this purpose, resulting in high costs. While this was relatively expensive, it was usually necessary to lift the table in order to move the casters up and down.

Therefore, according to the present invention, when in use, the curtain plate comes into contact with the floor surface and acts as a resistance to movement, so that the table supported by casters is prevented from movement and can be used in a stable state. When the top plate is folded when not in use, the curtain plate rises from the floor and releases resistance, allowing it to be moved freely by casters, and this movement can be stopped or canceled by the top plate. It is performed in conjunction with the rotation of the motor, and has the advantage of being easy and quick to operate since no special operations are required.

The left and right columns are equipped with casters for movement on the horizontal frame provided at the lower end, and are pivoted on a support shaft provided at the upper end of the columns, allowing for free rotation between a horizontal position and an upright position with the trailing edge facing down. It has a top plate, a locking means for holding the top plate in a horizontal position, and a curtain plate attached along the front edge of the column, and the curtain plate stands up with its back side aligned with the column. The link member is slidably supported along the column so as to be slidable up and down, and on the other hand, both ends of the link member are pivotally connected to the rear surface of the curtain plate and the lower surface of the top plate so that the link member can be freely rotated. The curtain board is connected and supported in a suspended manner on the lower surface of the top board through the link member, and when the top board is held in a horizontal position, the curtain board is lowered as the link member is lowered, and its lower edge is brought into contact with the floor surface. On the other hand, the folding table is configured such that when the top plate is changed to an upright position using the support shaft as a fulcrum, the curtain plate is pulled up via a link member and the lower edge is separated from the floor surface.
