Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition, capable of readily forming films, peelable in case of no need and having controlling action on light transmission by applying onto substrates, by dissolving a coloring matter material having the controlling action on light transmission in an organic polymer solution having the ability to form peelable films. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition obtained by dissolving a coloring matter material (e.g. azo dye) in an amount of preferably 0.5-40pts.wt. based on 100pts. wt. polymer in an organic polymer solution having the ability to form peelable films. The afore-mentioned composition can be applied onto substrates, such as automotive window glass or lenses of eyeglasses, to preferably provide 5-100mum film thickness (by, e.g. a spraying method) to form films capable of controlling incident sunrays to a given spectrum and/or light quantity.
