Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the number of processings generated by change in an area shape and to heighten the effect of the re-distribution of a load, by allocating an area divided and generated on a plane perpendicular to the axis of coordinate on each luminance calculation part at the time of computing the luminance of each image element based on the decision of crossing between an object and a beam of light.
CONSTITUTION: The crossing between the object and the beam of light is decided easily at the luminance calculation part allocated to the area generated by the hexahedron of a plane perpendicular to the axis of coordinate from plural light information passing each image element which constitutes an image to display the object from a view point from an initial optics generation part 1, and preset object information from an object information setting part 2. The load on the luminance calculation part 3 is calculated at an incorporated load calculation part, and is compared with the corresponding load on an adjacent calculation part 3, and when the load is small and the absolute value difference between then exceeds a threshold value, the area in charge is expanded. Similarly, the reduction of the area is also performed, and it is possible to reduce the processing due to the change in the area shape and to heighten the effect of the redistribution of the load since the area is formed with the hexahedron.
