Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to efficiently carry out a heat exchange operation by forming connecting passages for communicating a hollow rotor of the rotary type heat exchanger with a hollow disc thereof in a hole shape on the surface of the hollow rotor, providing collective discharge pipes on the same axis within the hollow rotor, and connecting the collective discharge pipes and the inside of the hollow disk by means of a conduit pipe. CONSTITUTION:At the time of driving, when steam is introduced into a hollow rotor 12 by a shaft end, a major part of steam passes through connecting passages and is introduced into a hollow disk 11 while a part of steam is condensed by conducting heat exchange on the inner surface of the hollow rotor 12. On the other hand, steam introduced into the hollow disk 11 flows in a good order all over the inner part of the hollow disk in accordance with a flow path partition plate 17 thereby to prevent the non-condensed gas from staying. Since the flow path partition plate 17, the outer surface of the hollow rotor 12 and the inner surface of the outer peripheral part of the hollow disk are not hermetrically attached to each other, condensed water generated in the respective steam flow passages does not stay but moves with the rotation of the hollow disk 11 and finally is checked by a partition plate 16 and introduced to a conical collective discharge pipe 15 by a conduit pipe 13.
