Since this is not possible, a base material is usually used. Conventionally, as such a base material, about 1 part by weight of glue, about 4 parts by weight of gofun (manufactured from crushed seashells, mainly composed of calcium carbonate), and about 4 to 6 parts by weight of hot water are used. Glue was dissolved in hot water, mixed with white powder, etc., and used as a base material.

Acrylic ester, methacrylic ester, ethylene, vinyl acetate, vinyl versatate, vinyl chloride,
Homopolymers, copolymers of two or more, or mixtures of two or more polymers of vinylidene chloride, acrylonitrile, styrene, maleic esters, fumaric esters, acrylamide, methacrylamide, methacrylonitrile, urethane, epoxy, etc. be. It is preferable to use emulsion polymerization without using a protective colloid. Such an emulsion resin functions to fix the monolithic pigment and the like and to attach the base material to the paper material. The amount of emulsion resin used is 3 to 3 as solid content per 100 parts by weight of the extender pigment.
25 parts by weight, preferably 5 to 15 parts by weight. If the solid content is more than 25 parts by weight, the sealing and filling effect of the extender pigment will be reduced, and if it is less than 3 parts by weight, the strength of the base material will be insufficient and the adhesion of the base material to the paper base will be reduced. Undesirable.

The addition of a thickener prevents the pigment from settling and adjusts the sag of the base material during dip coating and the permeability of water into the base paper material. The amount of the thickener used is 0.05 to 0.5 parts by weight, preferably 0.1 to 0.3 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the extender pigment. If the amount of thickener exceeds 0.5 parts by weight, sagging during painting will become severe, and

Further, 20 parts by weight of water was added to the dip-coated base material for paper according to the present invention produced as described above, and the viscosity was measured using a B-type viscometer at a temperature of 20° C. and a rotation speed of 2 ORPM.
It was 0 cp. This base material was used to dip-coat a Daruma paper base material. The degree of sagging and sealing effect of Daruma after base coating were good. This dharma is 20
After drying at ℃ for one day, a finishing coat was applied with a lacquer-based Daruma paint (trade name: Daruma Coat, manufactured by Shimada Shoten), and the texture and strength were both good.
