[Technical Field of the Invention] The present invention relates to a pretreatment method for reflow tinning, in which a copper alloy strip that has been tinned in an acidic tinning bath is continuously reflow treated. [Prior art] The reflow tinning method involves continuous reflow treatment of tinned strips, which involves the following steps: tinning, water washing, reflow pretreatment, water washing, drying, heating, cooling, and drying. There is a way. In this method, strips that have been subjected to pre-plating treatments such as degreasing and pickling, as well as base plating, are tin-plated in an acid bath in the tinning process, washed with water, and then subjected to reflow pre-treatment. Reflow pretreatment is performed during the process. Subsequently, after a water washing process and a drying process, the tin-plated coating on the surface is heated and melted by an appropriate heating device in a heating process, and the molten tin is solidified again by the cooling process in a cooling process, and the molten tin is solidified again in a drying process. After going through this process, it becomes a product. The role of the reflow pretreatment step in this series of steps is to stabilize the subsequent reflow treatment, and if the reflow pretreatment is omitted, the gloss of reflow tin plating will deteriorate. Conventionally, in a method of reflow processing a copper alloy strip that has been tinned in an acidic tinning bath,
As reflow pretreatment methods, there were those shown in Table 1. Trisodium phosphate (Na 3 PO 4 12H 2 O), which is the chemical used in the pretreatment method of the reflow tinning method shown in Table 1, is a white crystal and has a relatively low solubility in water, about 5%. It appears as a white suspension in an aqueous solution.

This invention was made for the purpose of eliminating such drawbacks in the conventional reflow tinning pretreatment method, and by using an ammonium chloride-ammonia buffer solution as a reflow pretreatment bath,
The present invention provides a pretreatment method for reflow tinning that does not leave treatment chemical particles on the surface of a strip. [Embodiment of the Invention] Hereinafter, a pretreatment method for reflow tinning according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described. Details of the pretreatment method for reflow tinning according to an embodiment of the present invention are shown in Table 2. The chemicals used in this example, ammonium chloride (NH 4 Cl) and ammonia (NH 4 OH), both have high solubility in water, and can be used as desired by changing the bath composition.
A buffer solution with a pH of 8.0 to 11.0 can be created.

As explained above, according to the present invention, since an ammonium chloride-ammonia buffer solution is used as a pretreatment bath for reflow tinning,
No processing chemical particles are left on the surface of the strip, which allows for stable quality and flow treatment without the need to modify equipment.
