Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent uneven coating of a solvent at the time of coating the solvent by a coating roller by lifting the soln. in a tank by the outside periphery of the coating roller to form a liquid pool by the rotation of said roller, then stopping the rotation of the roller, conveying a photosensitive material, etc., and coating the solvent thereon. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material 16 or image receiving material is conveyed on the coating roller 52. The roller 52 is rotated and the solvent in the tank 72 is lifted by the outside periphery of the roller to form the liquid pool between the roller and the photosensitive material 16 or the image receiving material at the point of the time when the front end of said material arrives at the roller 52. The rotation of the roller 52 is stopped and in this state the material 16 or the image receiving material is conveyed and the solvent is coated on the photosenstive material or the image receiving material. The generation of stepped unevenness according to the rotation of the coating roller is thereby obviated and since the solvent is coated on the material after the roller is stopped, the uniform coating is assured.

[Means and effects for solving the problems] The image forming solvent coating method according to the present invention transfers an image recorded on a photothermographic material to an image receiving material in the presence of an image forming solvent. An image-forming solvent coating method for applying the image-forming solvent to a heat-developable photosensitive material or an image-receiving material using an application roller that is used in an image recording device that forms an image on a material and is placed in a tank that stores the solvent. The photosensitive material or image-receiving material is conveyed onto the coating roller, and when the tip reaches the coating roller, the solvent in the tank is lifted by the outer periphery of the coating roller by rotation of the coating roller, and the photosensitive material is exposed. The solvent is applied to the photosensitive material or image-receiving material by forming a liquid stagnation between the material or the image-receiving material and then conveying the photo-sensitive material or image-receiving material while the rotation of the coating roller is stopped. It is closed.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the image forming solvent coating method according to the present invention transfers the image recorded on the photothermographic material to the image receiving material in the presence of the image forming solvent, thereby forming an image on the image receiving material. An image-forming solvent coating method for applying the image-forming solvent to a heat-developable photosensitive material or an image-receiving material using a coating roller disposed in a tank for accumulating the solvent, , the photosensitive material or image-receiving material is conveyed onto the coating roller, and when the tip reaches the coating roller, the solvent in the tank is lifted by the outer periphery of the coating roller by rotation of the coating roller, and the photosensitive material or image-receiving material is The method is characterized in that the solvent is applied to the photosensitive material or image-receiving material by forming a liquid stagnation between the two and then conveying the photo-sensitive material or image-receiving material while the rotation of the application roller is stopped. It has the excellent effect of preventing coating unevenness (step unevenness depending on the rotation of the coating roller) during solvent application by the coating roller.

(1) Used in an image recording device that obtains an image on an image-receiving material by transferring an image recorded on a heat-developable photosensitive material to the image-receiving material in the presence of an image-forming solvent, and placed in a tank that accumulates the solvent. An image-forming solvent coating method for applying the image-forming solvent to a heat-developable photosensitive material or image-receiving material using a coating roller, the photosensitive material or image-receiving material is conveyed onto the coating roller, and the tip thereof is When the part reaches the coating roller, the solvent in the tank is lifted by the outer periphery of the coating roller to form a liquid stagnation between it and the photosensitive material or image-receiving material, and then the coating roller is rotated. 1. A method for applying a solvent for image formation, characterized in that a solvent is applied to a photosensitive material or an image-receiving material by conveying the photo-sensitive material or an image-receiving material in a state where the photosensitive material or image-receiving material is stopped.
