Conventionally, hydraulic jacks have been used to remove cables and the like in the vertical direction. This hydraulic jack has a cable receiver on its upper part, and an operator places a cable or the like on the cable receiver and raises and lowers the hydraulic jack according to a predetermined snake width. However, in this conventional technique, the snakes were removed manually, which was inefficient, and it was difficult to make the snake widths of all the snakes uniform. Furthermore, a method has been tried in the past in which the cables are suspended by a plurality of cable hangers attached to a hanger rail and the snakes are removed from the cables (see, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 103694/1983). However, with this method, it is necessary to attach a hanger rail and prepare in advance a large number of cable hangers each having a hanging band with a length matching the snake width and pitch, making the snake installation complicated and uneconomical. In another conventional technique, a snake forming means is run using a trough as a guide to bend the cable at a predetermined position, and then the snake forming means is run again (see Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 56-98311). but,
In this conventional technology, a large reaction force acts on the trough when removing the snake from the cable, which may damage the trough or cause the device to move involuntarily, making it difficult to obtain the desired snake width.
There is a disadvantage that it is not possible to lay a snake with a pitch, and when the cable is stacked vertically in multiple layers, the height cannot be adjusted. It has the drawback of low work efficiency and uneconomical work. In addition, in this method, two pairs of guide rollers that clamp the cable are provided on each of a pair of rocking bodies to snake the cable, so once the snake operation is completed, multiple guide rollers are moved along the bent cable. Therefore, in order to run the snake forming means in preparation for the next snake operation, it is necessary to lift the snake forming means upward from the trough, which has the disadvantage of low workability.

The purpose of this invention is to remove snakes at a desired snake width and pitch without applying a large reaction force to the trough, and therefore without damaging the trough, and to economically remove snakes even from multi-tiered cables. To provide a machine for removing snakes from cables, etc., which can be used to remove snakes from cables, etc., and which can easily transfer snake work.

As shown in FIG. 5, the elevating means 36 for raising and lowering the frame 32 along the strut 22 includes a rack 38 attached along the strut 22, a pinion 40 attached to the frame 32 and meshing with the rack 38, and the frame 32. It consists of a geared motor 42 with a brake attached to it and driving a pinion 40.
Therefore, when the motor 42 is driven, the pinion 4
0 rolls along the rack 38, so frame 3
2 moves up and down along the support column 22. In FIG. 5, reference numeral 44 is a stopper roller that restricts the pinion 40 to mesh with the rack 38 with an appropriate pressure. The lifting means 36 further includes two limit switches 46, 46' mounted above and below the frame 32, as shown in FIG. an upper and lower actuating piece 50 that can be slid along and fixed at any position;
50' and operates to stop the operation of the motor 42 in the vertical direction.

A brake means 52 is provided for braking the carriage 16 to stop its movement when the carriage 16 reaches a predetermined snake-removing position. As shown in Figs. 4 and 8, the brake means 52 is
It is composed of a drive sprocket 56 which rotates by turning the brake handle 54, a driven sprocket 60 which is fixed to a threaded cylinder 58 which is screwed into the support pin 23' of the support column 22 and moves up and down by rotating the threaded cylinder 58, and a chain 62 stretched between the sprockets 56, 60. When the handle 54 is turned in one direction, the threaded cylinder 58 descends, i.e. moves downward, to seat on the guide rail 12 and fix the cart 16. In Figs. 1 to 3, reference numeral 64 denotes a control panel, and reference numeral 66 denotes a manual pusher attached to the adjacent cable mounting hardware 2.

Next, we will explain how the snake removing machine 10 of the present invention is used. First, move the cart 16 to the snake removing position using the handle 29, turn the handle 54 of the brake means 52 to fix the cart 16 in that position, and then tighten the bolts. 24 to vertically adjust the support arm 28, and then tighten the tightening bolt 24 again to fix the support arm 28 to the cable attachment hardware 2. When the trolley 16 is moved, the cable receiver 30 is in the position shown by the dotted line in FIG. 3, and the cable receiver 30 is rotated by hand in the counterclockwise direction in FIG. . Next, adjust the upper and lower actuating pieces 50, 5 according to the snake width and cable dimensions.
0' is fixed at a predetermined scale position along the scale 48. Thereafter, when the power switch in the control panel 64 is turned on and the lift button is pressed, the motor 42 of the lifting means 36 rotates, the pinion 40 rolls on the rack 38, and the cable receiver 30 rises. When the cable 1 rises to a predetermined snake width, the upper limit switch 46 engages with the upper limit actuation piece 50, so that the operation of the motor 42 is stopped. Therefore, cable 1
can be cleated to the cable mounting hardware 2. Thereafter, the cable receiver 30 is lowered by pressing the lowering button in the control panel 64, and after the lower limit switch 46' engages with the lower limit actuation piece 50' and the lowering stops, the cable receiver 30 is moved around the pillar 22 as shown in FIG. Move the support arm 28 to the dotted line position.
from the cable attachment hardware 2, release the brake means 52, and move the trolley 1 to the next snake removal position.
Run 6. At this position the above operation is repeated again.

According to the present invention, as described above, the cable receiver is attached to the vertically fixed column so that it can be raised and lowered to remove the snakes from the cables, so it is possible to easily remove the snakes from multi-tiered cables with one machine. In addition, since the column is fixed to the cable mounting hardware via the support arm during snake removal, the reaction force of the cable is received by the cable mounting hardware, so there is no damage to the trough etc. when removing the snake. In addition, the truck is braked at the snake removal position, and the support arm is fixed to the cable attachment hardware as well as fixed in place, making it possible to remove the snake at the desired snake pitch, improving work efficiency and making it easier to remove the snake. This can be done economically, and there is a practical benefit in that the cable receiver can be simply lowered along the support to move on to the next snake job after completing the snake job, making it easy to transition the job.
