If the information track pitch is 20 pm and the recording length of 1 bit is 5 mm, then the number of tracks is 55 x (1000 ÷ 20) = 2750 (Thu) 8 bits/track 85 x (1000 ÷ 5). )=17000 (bit) Byte capacity/track 17000÷8. .. 2000 (bytes). Therefore, the total data capacity is 2750×2000=5500000=5.5 (MB).

In step S4, the directory before the directory in which the reading error occurred is read, and in step S4, the first data track of the file indicated by the directory in which the error occurred, determined in step S3, is read. Based on the directory information written in each data track, it is determined in step S5 whether the information is the end of the file. If it's not the last
Go to read the next data track in step S6,
Repeat from step S5. If the track is the last in step S5, the file length is determined depending on how many tracks have been read, and the process goes to step S7, where the directory can be recovered.
