DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an instrumentation cable in which a plurality of conductor cables are housed within a protective sheath.

Generally, in order to connect an instrumentation cable to a meter, etc., as shown in Fig. 1, the protective covering (sheath) 2 of the instrumentation cable 1 is peeled off with a certain length.
The ends of the separated conductor cables 3 are stripped and connected to the necessary parts of the meter 4, and then bundled with wires 5. For example, a pre-installed shrink tube is heat-shrinked around the bundle of conductor cables 3. Protector 6
is formed. An insulating material 8 such as bushing, putty, or plaster block is inserted at the point where the instrumentation cable penetrates the panel 7.

By the way, it is unavoidable for the work to peel off the sheath 2 of the instrumentation cable 1 by holding it loosely and take apart the conductor cable 3, but after connecting the conductor cable 3, it is bundled and the shrink tube is heat-shrinked. Or,
It is troublesome to create the protector 6 by winding insulating tape. Therefore, it has been considered to provide a thin inner sheath 9 that can be rolled up between the sheath 2 and the conductor cable 3, as shown in FIG.
Since the sheath 2 must be covered, the inner sheath 9 must be formed to have an appropriate looseness and thickness. If it is too loose, the outer diameter of the cable becomes thick, and if it is too thin, the sheath 2 becomes weak and does not function as a protector.

The present invention was devised in view of such conventional difficulties, and the instrumentation cable of the present invention includes an intervening part that is provided with easy-to-cut parts against tension at predetermined intervals along the axial direction of the cable, and an assembly together with the intervening part. The device comprises a plurality of conductor cables, and an elastic plastic tube coated around the plurality of conductor cables.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 3 shows a sectional view of the instrumentation cable 10 of the present invention.
1 are provided, and the conductor cables 12 are twisted and laminated around the interposer 11. Then, an electrostatic shielding mesh 13 is further provided thereon, and then an elastic plastic tube 14 is covered.

The interposer 11 is provided with portions that are easy to cut under tension at predetermined intervals along its longitudinal direction (the axial direction of the cable), and is made by cutting a thick string 15 of resin such as polyethylene as shown in Fig. 4a, for example. Crack 1

1 may be wrapped around the conductor cable 12, inserted between the conductor cables, or placed at the center (shaft portion) of the instrumentation cable 10.

The elastic plastic tube 14 is made of, for example, a very flexible material so that when the interposer 11 is pulled out from the stack of conductor cables 12, it becomes loose with respect to the conductor cable 12 together with the braided interposer 13 and can be pulled up in the axial direction. It is formed using thermoplastic rubber, which is known for its good properties. When using vinyl chloride resin, etc., make the wall a little thinner.
Furthermore, an outer covering is provided.

Note that the mesh 13 also serves as a presser and wrapper to make it easier to cover the elastic plastic tube 14, and is not necessarily necessary. It may also have a structure in which pressure-wrapping tape or aluminum-polyester laminate tape is attached vertically.

To use the instrumentation cable of the present invention constructed as described above, first, as shown in FIG. 5, an appropriate amount of the end of the plastic tube 14 is peeled off to expose the conductor cable 12 and the interposer 11. Next, by grasping the part near the required length with pliers 19 and pulling the interposer 11 to the right in the figure, the interposer 1
1 is cut at an easy-to-cut point in front of the grip and pulled out. Next, the plastic tube 14 is shifted to the left and folded up, and the exposed bundle of conductor cables 12 is untwisted and connected to a necessary part of a meter or the like. Thereafter, the plastic tube 14 can be returned to its original position, and the plastic tube 14 serves as a protector for the connected conductor cable.
Note that the braided interposer 13 may be placed over the connected conductor cable, or may be cut off.

As is clear from the above description, in the instrumentation cable of the present invention, intervening parts having easy-to-cut areas against tension are placed between the laminated conductor cables at predetermined intervals along the axial direction of the cable. In addition, the elastic plastic tube coated around the laminated conductor cable is formed so that it can be rolled up when it is loose, so that the conductor cable can be easily made to the required length by pulling out the intervening material and pulling up the tube. It is extremely easy to connect instrumentation cables, as the tube can be exposed for a long time, and by returning the tube after connecting the conductor cable, it can be used as a protector for the connected conductor cable. become. Furthermore, since the outer sheath (elastic plastic tube) is formed to be foldable, it is easy to manufacture.
