を光デイスクに集中させて該光デイスクに情報の
書き込みを行なうと共に、前記光デイスクにより
反射された反射レーザービームを前記偏光ビーム
スプリツタにより受光素子の存在する方向に導い
て該受光素子に結像させ、前記光デイスクに記録
された情報の読み取りを行なう光デイスク装置に
おいて、 前記半導体レーザーと前記偏光ビームスプリツ
タとの間のレーザービームの出射光路途中に、前
記光デイスクに記録されている情報の読み取りを
行なうときに前記半導体レーザーから出射された
レーザービームの一部を前記偏光ビームスプリツ
タにより反射させて前記光デイスクに導かれるレ
ーザービームを減衰させるビーム減衰手段を設け
、前記偏光ビームスプリツタには該偏光ビームス
プリツタを前記光デイスクに向かつて通過する際
に反射された反射レーザービームが前記受光素子
に導かれて該受光素子の再生ノイズが増大するの
