(従来の技術)
従来、二重管ヒートパイプは、第2図、第3図に示すよ
うに内管2.外管1ともそのままの形状をアルミニウム
材の押し出し加工で形成し、外側から出来る必要な加工
例えばスリット4等をほどこした後に、外管1内に内管
2を挿入して構成されていた。しかしこの方法では内管
外面と外管内面のハメアイを良くする加工には長さに限
度があるため長尺のヒートパイプが出来ず、もともと二
重管ヒートパイプは、長い距離を多量の熱が輸送できる
能力を有しながら、その特徴を有効に活用することが可
能でなかった。二重ヒートパイプを実現するうえで特に
、内管は外面の加工が主なので比較的容易であるが、外
管は内面加工を必要とするので長尺化の妨げとなってい
