前後方向に直線的に延びるアツパガイドレールが
ドア開口の上縁部に取り付けられる一方、上記ア
ツパガイドレールにスライド嵌合するローラをも
つアームが、スライドドアに対して、上記ローラ
を中心に車室外方に突出する起立位置と畳込み位
置とにわたつて揺動可能であり、かつ畳込み位置
の近傍でのスライドドア移動軌跡がスライドドア
のスライド方向に対して所定の鋭角で交差する直
線となるように取り付けられるスライドドアの上
部支持機構であつて、 上記アームの起立状態において上記アツパガイ
ドレールの外壁面に接触するかまたは微小間隔を
隔てて位置するガイド部材が上記アームに設けら
れるとともに、上記アツパガイドレール前端の外
側コーナ部外壁面が、畳込み位置の近傍での上記
ガイド部材の上記ローラを中心とした移動軌跡と
ほぼ相似する曲面状に形成されていることを特徴
