するために、エレベータをある期間、例えば1ケ月位、
完全に止めて、この期間に既設の乗かご、巻上機、出入
口部品等を撤去した後、新設の乗かご、巻上機、出入口
部品等の組立てを行なっていた。しかしながらこの方法
では、エレベータが2台以上併設されているビルは1台
休止させ実施できるのでそれ程問題ないが、小規模ビル
のように1台だけのエレベータの場合、改造のために長
期に亘ってエレベータが使えず、利用者に対し多大の迷
惑を掛けるという問題があった。

式巻上機を設け、しかる後、この仮設巻胴式巻上機によ
つて前記仮設乗かごを昇降させてサービスさせ、このサ
ービス期間中に前記既設エレベータの巻上機を新設の巻
上機に変更すると共に、前記仮設機械台上部で新設の乗
かごの組立てを行ない、この後、前記仮設機械台、前記
仮設巻胴式巻上機、前記仮設乗かごを取除くようにした
ことを特徴とするエレベータの改造方法。
