【考案の詳細な説明】 本案は光漏れがない発光ダイオード表示器に関
する。

近年各種機器の多機能化に伴い表示も多様化し
ているが、中でも音響機器に於て周波数を数字で
表わし音量を多点表示したり、時計に於て第1図
に示すように時刻をデジタル表示し曜日を選択的
に点灯したりする、いわゆる数字表示と棒状の多
点表示との組合せが増加している。このような複
合表示を、発光ダイオードを光源とした表示器で
行なう場合、発光ダイオードは小さいので反射枠
体13,14と光拡散シート19とを利用して所
望の形状でしかも表示面全面に均一の輝度となる
ように表示していたが、その反射枠体13,14
は、透孔を日字状等に組合せて数字等を表示する
場合と四角錘台の透孔を並べて多点表示を行なう
場合とで次のような相違がある。即ち数字等を表
示するための絵素は細長いので透光の側壁は複雑
な形状となりやすい。一方四角錘台の透孔は開口
面積が大きいが形状は単純で、これに用いる光拡
散シートは数字表示と異なる色にしたり、その上
に文字印刷を施こしたりする。このような相違点
を有するので数字表示用反射枠体14と多点表示
用反射枠体13とは別体にした方が反射枠も製造
しやすく、組立作業もしやすい。ところが多点表
示用反射枠体13は細長いので基板11に固着す
るが困難である。即ち反射枠体は白色樹脂成型品
であるため通常は反射枠体に突出ピン、基板に透
孔を設け、突出ピンを透孔に挿入し、先端を溶着
して固定していたが、上述のように細長くなると
底面略中央部に突出ピンを出す余地がなくなるば
かりか、何とかして出すと表面の突出ピンに対応
する位置にヒケと呼ばれる凹部が形成され、光拡
散シート19を貼つてもその凹部が目立つてしま
う。また突出ピンを設けないと基板と反射枠体底
部との間にちようど発光ダイオードの高さ程度
(200〜400μm)のすき間が生じるので、光洩れが
大きく、暗い表示になつたり隣接する不灯のはず
の絵素が点灯しているように見えて不都合であ
る。接着剤を用いると接着層が光パイプの役目を
するので、この光洩れはもつと大きくなる。
