DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a spring seat, and more particularly to a spring seat for supporting a suspension spring in a damper in which the inner periphery of the spring is guided by cut-and-raised guide portions at two or more locations on the circumference of the main body. .

As one of the conventional spring seats of this kind, the one shown in FIG. 1 is known. This is done by welding the base end 3 of a spring seat 2 to the outer periphery of the damper 1, and forming a curved annular guide part 5 on the outer periphery of the horizontal spring support surface 4.
The inner circumference of the spring 6 supports the outer diameter of the coil of the spring 6. According to this spring seat 2, since the guide portion 5 protrudes outward, the outer diameter is large, which increases the material cost, increases the weight, and takes up a large amount of space due to the outward protrusion. It interferes with the tires of the car to which it is attached, and in this case, it becomes necessary to cut out a part of the guide part, which in turn has the disadvantage of causing the balance to collapse and causing the damper to be placed on the wrong side.

Also, the known spring seat 7 as shown in FIG. An annular guide portion 10 is formed, and the inner periphery of the coil of the spring 11 is supported on the inner periphery of the guide portion 10. In this case, since the guide portion 10 is located inward, the outer diameter is smaller than that of the spring seat shown in FIG. Moreover, in order to provide strength, it is necessary to increase the thickness of the plate, which has the drawback of increasing the weight and increasing the material cost in total.

In order to achieve this object, the configuration of the present invention is such that, in a spring seat in which a connecting portion to a damper and a contact support surface of a suspension spring are integrally formed, the spring seat base material is made to have the same diameter as the winding diameter of the suspension spring. It is formed from a circular plate having an outer diameter, and the connecting portion is erected at the center of the circular plate by burring, and the circumferential guide portion of the spring is cut and raised at a circumferential position on the upper surface of the circular plate. A reinforcing rib is integrally bulged out at the joint between the joint and the support surface by bending, and the support surface partially supports the end of the spring by cutting a part of the outer periphery of the circular plate into a straight line. It is characterized in that it is formed leaving an arcuate portion so as to be curved, and that one of the supporting surfaces is formed with an inclined lead surface.

The spring seat base material is a horizontal plate body having the same outer diameter as the winding diameter of the suspension spring, such as a disk 12.
A support surface 17 is formed on the upper surface of the outer periphery of this disk 12.
By forming the inner periphery of the central hole 13, a cylindrical coupling part 14 to the damper is vertically provided downward, and the support surface 1 of the disc 12 is

A spring support surface 17 is left on the outer periphery of the disk 12, and an excess end 18 is cut off. When the lower end of the spring coil is inclined according to the winding diameter, the disk 12 can be deformed to provide an inclined lead surface 19 with an angle corresponding to the coil lead angle of the spring. There is.

In the above spring seat, when supporting the lower part of the suspension spring, the connecting part 14 is inserted after inserting the disk 12 into the outer periphery of the damper 1 through the hole 13.
are connected by welding etc., and the supporting surface 17 and the lead surface 1 are connected.
9. Place the guide portions 16 facing upward. From this state, the lower end of the spring 11 is supported on the support surface 17, and the inner circumference of the coil of the spring 11 is placed on the guide portion 16.
It is supported while centering on the outer surface of the The reinforcing ribs 15 and 20 reinforce the spring seat so as to withstand the load from the spring.

According to the present invention, the outer diameter of the spring seat can be reduced to near the center diameter of the coil of the spring, and the inner circumference of the coil is guided by the cut-and-raised guide section, which reduces the lateral space and eliminates the need for the conventional circumference. Unlike the guide method, there are no defects in terms of strength.
A lightweight and inexpensive spring seat can be obtained.

That is, since the guide part 16 for preventing misalignment is cut and raised by using a part of the base material of the spring seat, and the reinforcing rib 15 is also bent upward or downward, there is no need to increase or add parts. Since the weight is only the weight of the base material itself, the weight can be reduced, material costs can be saved, and costs can be reduced.

Furthermore, if the spring support surface 17 and lead surface 19 are left, the other outer ends become redundant, and by cutting them, the weight can be further reduced. Furthermore, since only burring and bending are performed, there is no drawing process, and the number of manufacturing steps can be greatly reduced, resulting in labor savings.

In addition, when installing a spring whose lower end of the coil is inclined according to the winding diameter by forming an inclined lead surface 19 on a part of the support surface, the lower end of the spring should be processed to be flat. The spring can be easily attached to the lead surface 19 without any problems. The support surface is formed by cutting a portion of the outer periphery of the circular plate into a straight line, leaving an arcuate portion to partially support the end of the spring, thereby reducing the weight of the spring seat. This has the remarkable effect of providing an effective spring seat surface.
