The present invention relates to water-based inks using oil-soluble dyes. Conventionally, oil-based inks have better water resistance than water-based inks, but when written on paper, etc., there are problems such as bleeding and set-off of handwriting, and water-based inks also have better water resistance than oil-based inks. Although there were few problems such as set-off, there was a problem of poor water resistance. The present inventors have completed the present invention as a result of intensive research based on the idea that the above-mentioned problems can be solved if a water-based ink using an oil-soluble dye is obtained. is a water-based ink comprising at least an oil-soluble dye, an O/W type synthetic resin emulsion, a water-soluble organic solvent, and water. What is particularly important in the present invention is the use of an oil-soluble dye and an O/W type synthetic resin emulsion in the water-based ink. In other words, it is thought that the oil-soluble dye dyes the synthetic resin in the O/W type synthetic resin emulsion, making it possible to use oil-soluble dyes that cannot normally be used in water-based inks, and improving water resistance. Furthermore, since a water-soluble organic solvent is used as the solvent, an ink with less bleeding and set-off of handwriting can be obtained. Furthermore, since oil-soluble dyes and synthetic resin emulsions are used, it is possible to write on non-permeable materials such as glass and plastic, and it is possible to obtain handwriting with good fixability. The present invention will be explained in detail below. The oil-soluble dye is used as a coloring agent, but since it is used by dyeing the synthetic resin in the O/W type synthetic resin emulsion, it is preferable to use a dye that can easily dye the synthetic resin. 23, and various commercially available oil-soluble dyes for resin coloring, which can be used alone or in combination, and the amount used depends on the type of oil-soluble dye,
Although it varies depending on the type of O/W type synthetic resin emulsion and the purpose of use, it is generally preferable to use 0.1 to 50% by weight based on the resin content of the O/W type synthetic resin emulsion. O/W type synthetic resin emulsions include Primal AC-33, Primal AC-61 (manufactured by Nippon Acrylic Chemical Co., Ltd.), and Jurimer ET530 (manufactured by Nippon Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd.).
Acrylic synthetic resin emulsion such as Cybinol GH100 (manufactured by Saiden Chemical Co., Ltd.), Nikazole RX-472, Nikazole CL100C (manufactured by Nippon Carbide Industries, Ltd.), Cevian A-351 (manufactured by Daicel Chemical Industries, Ltd.) ) and styrene-butadiene synthetic resin emulsions such as Nibor LX204 (manufactured by Nippon Zeon Co., Ltd.) and Instarbond KM-500 (manufactured by Shoei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.). , can be used alone or in combination, and the amount used is preferably 2 to 30% by weight of the resin based on the total amount of the ink. Examples of water-soluble organic solvents include ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, propylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, thiodiglycol, ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, and ethylene glycol monomethyl ether. Glycols and their derivatives such as acetate, diethylene glycol monomethyl ether, diethylene glycol monobutyl ether, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, glycerin, monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine, isopropanolamine, N-methyldiethanolamine, N,
Examples include N-alkanolamines such as N'-dimethylethanolamine and 2-(2-aminoethylamino)ethanol, and N-alkylamines such as ethylamine, diethylamine, triethylamine, butylamine, and dibutylamine. They can be used in combination, and the amount used is preferably 1 to 40% by weight based on the total amount of the ink. Water is used as the main solvent, and the amount used is preferably 40 to 85% by weight based on the total amount of the ink, including the water contained in the emulsion. In addition, various surfactants, preservatives, PH regulators, rust preventives, humectants, etc. may be added as necessary. Next, to briefly describe the ink manufacturing method, there are two methods: one is to simply stir and mix the above-mentioned components to obtain ink, and the other is to first mix an oil-soluble dye and an O/W type synthetic resin emulsion, then add the oil-soluble dye to the synthetic resin. There is a method to obtain ink by dyeing the ink and then adding other ingredients. Further, if a precipitate is generated during the production of the ink, it is preferable to remove the precipitate by filtration or the like. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to Examples. In the Examples, "parts" simply indicate "parts by weight."
